Dog Park Note:
I have searched high and low and have not been able to come up with any Dog Parks or designated/dedicated Off-Leash Areas in Mississippi! If anyone knows of any please let me know.
Dogs are generally allowed in State Parks at no charge, but must be on a 6 foot or shorter leash at all times and as always, picked up after. Please be sure to check with individual parks for park specific rules and possible fees.
Mississippi Dog Park Update: I finally found a designated Dog Park in Mississippi! It is at the Magnolia RV Park & Resort in Vicksburg, MS. They have a 7,000 sq.ft. fenced Dog Park Area on property. There is just one catch, you MUST be a REGISTERED GUEST of the RV Park. Since it is not available for public use I am not including a link to it, but I thought that the "find" was worthy enough to mention. If you have a dog and an RV and need a place to stay in Vicksburg this is the place for you!
